Crosslist To Socials ("Crosslist To Socials") is a personal-use tool that helps clothing resellers create and publish social media posts from their existing marketplace listings. This policy explains what data Crosslist To Socials accesses and how it is handled.

What Crosslist To Socials Does

The App reads your existing product listings from Crosslist.com, generates social media captions, and publishes pins to Pinterest on your behalf when you choose to do so. The App only acts when you initiate an action.

Data We Access

• Pinterest Account Data: The App accesses your Pinterest account via the Pinterest API to create pins on boards you specify, read your board list, and verify your account connection. We request the following permissions: pins:read, pins:write, boards:read, boards:write, and user_accounts:read.
• Listing Data: Product titles, descriptions, prices, and images from your Crosslist dashboard are read and stored locally on your device to generate social media posts.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your own device in a SQLite database. The App does not transmit your data to any external server other than the Pinterest API (to publish pins you have approved) and the Anthropic API (to generate captions, if you have configured an API key).

• Listing data, captions, and post history are stored on your local machine only.
• Your Pinterest access token is stored locally in your configuration file or settings.
• No data is shared with third parties beyond what is required to publish your posts.

Third-Party Services

• Pinterest API: Used to publish pins and read board information. Subject to Pinterest's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic API (optional): If configured, listing details (title, price, brand, size) are sent to generate captions. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. No images are sent to this service.
• Crosslist.com: The App reads your listings from your authenticated Crosslist session. No data is written to Crosslist.

Data Sharing

The App does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone. Data is only sent to Pinterest (to publish content you approve) and optionally to Anthropic (to generate captions).

Data Retention

All data remains on your local device for as long as you choose to keep it. You can delete all listings and posts at any time through Crosslist To Socials's settings page. Uninstalling Crosslist To Socials removes all local data.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

• View all stored data through Crosslist To Socials's dashboard
• Delete any or all data through the settings page
• Revoke Pinterest access by removing Crosslist To Socials from your Pinterest connected apps

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
